Build a landing page

A landing page gives your campaign or announcement a dedicated home on the web — a single, focused destination you can link to from a Broadcast, a signature, or a social post. Use this guide to build one and publish it.

Before you begin

  • Decide on one primary goal for the page (register, download, learn more, sign up) and the single action you want subscribers to take.
  • Gather your content: headline, body copy, images, and any legal or footer text.
  • Know the destination for your call-to-action — a form, an external URL, or a file to download.
  • Confirm you have permission to create and publish microsites/experiences in your account (confirm the exact steps in your account).

Steps

  1. Open the microsites/experiences area and create a new landing page, starting from a blank layout or a template.
  2. Give the page a clear internal name and set its URL or page address so it's easy to find and share later.
  3. Add your headline and body content, then place images and branding to match your campaign.
  4. Add a single, prominent call-to-action. If you're collecting information, embed or link a signup form; otherwise link the button to your destination URL.
  5. Apply personalization tokens where you want to greet or tailor content to the subscriber, if the page is reached from a personalized link.
  6. Preview the page on desktop and mobile, and check every link and the call-to-action.
  7. Publish the page, then copy its live URL to use in your Broadcast and other channels (confirm the exact publish and permissions steps in your account).

Result

Visiting the published URL loads your landing page with working content, images, and a call-to-action that routes to the correct destination. Traffic and conversions can then be tracked in your reports.
