Read SMS Delivery and Engagement Reports
SMS Broadcasts report separately from email and web/microsite activity. This page shows how to find an SMS Broadcast's report and read its core metrics — delivery, opt-outs, and link clicks — so you can judge reach and engagement.
Before you begin
- You need an SMS Broadcast that has already been sent. Reports populate only after a Broadcast leaves the queue.
- Allow time for carrier acknowledgements; delivery and click figures continue to settle for several hours after send.
- Confirm you have permission to view reporting for the Folder that holds the Edition. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Steps
- Open the Folder containing the SMS Edition and select the Broadcast you want to review.
- Open its report. SMS Broadcasts show an SMS-specific view rather than the email opens/clicks layout. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
- Read delivery: messages sent, delivered, and failed/undelivered. Failures usually mean an invalid number or a carrier block.
- Read opt-outs: subscribers who replied with a stop keyword. These are suppressed from future SMS automatically.
- Read link clicks: taps on tracked short links in the message body, with totals and unique clickers where available.
- Filter or segment by time or subscriber group if you need to compare cohorts, then export the figures if you report elsewhere.
Result
You can see how many subscribers received your SMS Broadcast, how many opted out, and how many clicked — a clear read on reach and engagement for that send.
