View microsite and site traffic

See visits, visitors, and page views for a microsite over any date range.

Before you begin

  • You need access to a published microsite. Draft or unpublished sites record little or no traffic until they go live.
  • Confirm you have permission to view reports for the Folder that contains the microsite. Analysts and admins usually do; some Author roles may not.
  • Decide the date range you want to analyze (for example, the week after a Broadcast that linked to the site).
  • Know which metrics matter to you: visits (sessions), visitors (distinct subscribers or devices), and page views (individual pages loaded).

Steps

  1. Open the reporting or analytics area for the microsite. This is usually reached from the site itself or from the Folder where it lives. (Confirm the exact path in your account.)
  2. Select the microsite you want to measure.
  3. Set the date range. Use a preset (such as last 7 or 30 days) or enter a custom start and end date.
  4. Review the summary metrics — visits, visitors, and page views — for the selected range.
  5. Drill into the per-page breakdown to see which pages draw the most traffic, and check any trend or over-time chart to spot spikes.
  6. Optionally export or share the report so colleagues can see the same figures. (Export options vary by account.)

Result

You can see how many visits, visitors, and page views your microsite received over the chosen period, and which pages performed best. Traffic that follows an email send typically clusters shortly after the Broadcast goes out.
