View per-recipient engagement
Aggregate open and click rates tell you how a Broadcast performed overall. Per-subscriber engagement goes one level deeper: it shows you which individual subscribers opened, which ones clicked, and what they clicked — so you can build a follow-up list of your most engaged contacts.
Before you begin
- The Edition must already have been sent as a Broadcast; engagement data only exists once messages are delivered.
- Allow a little time after the send for opens and clicks to register — engagement continues to accrue as subscribers interact.
- You'll need reporting access for the Folder that contains the Broadcast. (Confirm the exact steps in your account.)
Steps
- Open the reports area and locate the Broadcast whose engagement you want to review.
- Open its report, then switch to the per-subscriber (recipient-level) view rather than the summary totals.
- Filter to the behavior you care about — for example, subscribers who opened, or subscribers who clicked a specific link.
- Sort by activity (such as number of clicks or last-open time) to surface your most engaged contacts first.
- Optionally export the filtered list so you can act on it — for example, seed a follow-up Broadcast or hand it to another team. (Confirm the exact export options in your account.)
Result
You can see, for each subscriber, whether they opened and what they clicked, and you have a filtered, sortable list of engaged contacts ready to follow up with.
