Broadcast Types
A Broadcast is an Edition that has been sent out. The platform supports several Broadcast types, each suited to a different goal — from a single announcement to an automated series triggered by subscriber activity. Use this reference to pick the right type before you schedule a send. (Confirm the exact type names and options available in your account.)

Notes
- All Broadcast types draw from the same Edition you build in a Folder — the type controls who receives it and when, not how it is authored.
- Transactional messages are sent one at a time through the API and are usually kept separate from marketing sends for deliverability. See the developer guide for setup.
- A/B tests need a large enough list for the sample split to be meaningful; small lists may not produce a clear winner.
- Automated Broadcasts continue to send to newly qualifying subscribers until you pause or retire them.
