Set Up Your Brand Palette

Define your brand colors once so they are ready to apply, consistently, across every Edition you build. A saved palette means Authors pick from your approved colors instead of typing hex codes by hand — keeping headers, buttons, links, and backgrounds on-brand.

Before you begin

  • Confirm you have permission to manage brand or account settings (confirm the exact steps in your account).
  • Gather your brand colors as hex values (for example, #1A2B3C). Ask your design team for the official values, including primary, secondary, accent, and neutral shades.
  • Decide on clear, reusable names for each color (for example, "Primary Blue", "Action Green") so other Authors recognize them at a glance.

Steps

  1. Open your brand or account settings and find the color palette (or brand colors) area (confirm the exact steps in your account).
  2. Add a new color and enter its hex value.
  3. Give the color a descriptive name that reflects its role, not just its shade — this is what Authors will see when they apply it.
  4. Repeat for each brand color, grouping primary, accent, and neutral tones together.
  5. Save the palette. Where available, set the color intended for buttons and links as the default action color.

Result

Your brand colors now appear as selectable swatches in the color picker while editing an Edition. Open any Edition, select an element such as a heading or button, and confirm your named colors show up ready to apply.
