Schedule a Broadcast for Later
Set a Broadcast to go out automatically at a future date and time, so your Edition reaches subscribers at the moment you choose without anyone having to click Send in real time.
Before you begin
- A finished Edition that is ready to send — content reviewed, links checked, and personalization tokens verified.
- The audience (list, segment, or filter) you want to send to, confirmed and up to date.
- The exact date, time, and time zone you want the Broadcast to go out. Decide whether the schedule follows your account's time zone or the subscriber's local time (confirm the exact steps in your account).
- Access to send from the sending Folder that holds this Edition.
Steps
- Open the Edition you want to send and start the send flow (the same flow you use for an immediate Broadcast).
- Choose the audience — the list, segment, or filter that defines who receives it.
- When prompted to choose delivery timing, select the option to schedule for later instead of sending now.
- Enter the future date and time, and confirm the time zone shown is the one you intend.
- Send yourself or a seed address a final test, then review the summary (audience size, sender details, scheduled time).
- Confirm to schedule the Broadcast. It now sits in a scheduled state until the chosen time.
Result
The Broadcast is queued and will send automatically at the scheduled date and time. You can confirm it appears with a "scheduled" status and the correct send time. Until it sends, you can typically edit, reschedule, or cancel it — after it begins sending, those options no longer apply (confirm the exact steps in your account).
