Apply and Switch Themes

A theme sets the shared look of an Edition — fonts, colors, spacing, and default styling for headings, links, and buttons — so your content stays on-brand without styling every block by hand. Applying a theme keeps your message consistent, and switching themes lets you restyle an Edition without rebuilding its content.

Before you begin

  • Have an Edition open in the editor, or create one inside a Project Folder.
  • Know which theme you want. If your organization maintains approved brand themes, pick one of those.
  • Keep in mind that a theme controls styling, not your text or images — those stay put when you switch. (Confirm the exact theme options available in your account.)

Steps

  1. Open the Edition you want to style from its Project Folder.
  2. Open the Edition's theme or styling settings (confirm the exact menu path in your account).
  3. Browse the available themes and preview how each one restyles your current content.
  4. Select the theme you want and apply it to the Edition.
  5. To switch later, return to the same settings and choose a different theme — your text, images, and layout blocks are preserved.
  6. Review the Edition end to end, then save.

Result

The Edition adopts the selected theme's fonts, colors, and default styling across all blocks. Any per-block overrides you added by hand may remain, so scan for elements that still carry old styling after a switch.
