Manage sender identities and reply-to addresses

A sender identity is the "From" your subscribers see, plus the reply-to address that receives their responses. Keeping a small, verified set of identities makes your Broadcasts recognizable and protects deliverability. This page shows admins how to add, edit, and set a default identity that Authors can pick when they build an Edition.

Before you begin​

  • You need admin rights to manage account-wide sender identities.
  • Decide the display name (e.g. "Acme Support") and the from address for each identity.
  • Choose a reply-to address that a real person or team monitors — replies to an unmonitored inbox frustrate subscribers.
  • Confirm the sending domain is authenticated (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Unauthenticated domains are far more likely to land in spam.

Steps​

  1. Open the sender identity settings for your account (confirm the exact menu path in your account).
  2. Add a new identity: enter the display name and the from address.
  3. Set the reply-to address. Use a monitored mailbox; leave it blank only if you want replies to go to the from address.
  4. Verify the address if prompted — a confirmation email is usually sent to prove you control the mailbox.
  5. Optionally mark one identity as the default so new Editions start from it.
  6. Save. Authors can now select this identity when configuring a Broadcast.

Result​

The new identity appears in the sender list and is available to Authors. Send yourself a test Broadcast and check that the display name, from address, and reply-to all appear correctly in the received message.
