Account and Access Administration
This is where admins run the account: who can sign in, what they can do, and how the account looks and behaves. Come here to add Authors, set permissions, configure branding and security, and connect the tools your team uses.

- Invite Authors, assign roles, and control their access to Folders and Editions.
- Configure account-wide settings such as time zone, language, and sending defaults.
- Harden sign-in with password rules, two-factor authentication, and SSO.

- Troubleshoot account and sign-in issues — Resolve common problems such as sign-in failures, missing permissions, and SSO or API key errors.
How To
- Set up your organization profile and branding — Add your organization's name, contact details, logo, and colors so your account reflects your brand.
- Create and manage Workspaces — Set up Workspaces to separate teams, departments, or newsletters within a single account.
- Set up newsletters and publications — Create newsletters that group related Broadcasts and their subscribers under your account.
- Invite Authors to your account — Invite new Authors by email and give them access to the right Workspace.
- Assign roles and permissions to Authors — Assign roles that control what each Author can create, send, and manage.
- Control Author access to Folders — Grant or restrict individual Authors' access to specific Folders and the Editions inside them.
- Deactivate or remove an Author — Remove access for an Author who has left, and reassign their Folders and Editions.
- Configure account settings — Set account-wide defaults such as time zone, language, and sending preferences.
- Configure sign-in and security settings — Set password rules, two-factor authentication, and session timeouts to protect your account.
- Set up single sign-on (SSO) — Connect your identity provider so Authors sign in with your organization's credentials (see the Developer guide for provider setup).
- Create and manage API keys — Create, view, and revoke API keys so your developers can connect to the platform (see the Developer docs).
- Review your plan's features and entitlements — See which features and sending limits are included in your plan and how to request changes.
- View account activity and audit logs — Review who did what and when across your account for oversight and compliance.
- Set Up Two-Factor Authentication — MFA/2FA is a standard security ask with no dedicated page; only a generic sign-in-security page exists.
- Handle a Data Access or Deletion Request — GDPR/CCPA operational how-to (export or erase a subscriber's personal data) is missing; concepts/compliance-and-privacy is conceptual only.
Reference
- Roles and permissions reference — A side-by-side reference of each built-in role and the permissions it grants.
Author = the user; Edition = an email an Author builds; Folder (Project Folder) = where Editions are organized; Broadcast = an Edition that is sent out; recipient = subscriber.
