View account activity and audit logs

Review who did what and when across your account for oversight and compliance. Activity and audit logs record actions such as sign-ins, permission changes, Edition edits, and Broadcast sends — so you can investigate incidents, satisfy compliance requests, and confirm that changes were made by the right people.

Before you begin

  • You need an administrator role with permission to view account activity. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
  • Decide the time range and the type of activity you want to review (for example, sign-ins, user or permission changes, or send activity).
  • Have any relevant names on hand — the Author, Folder, or Edition you want to trace.

Steps

  1. Open your account or administration area and locate the activity or audit log section. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
  2. Set the date range for the period you want to review.
  3. Filter by Author, action type, or affected item (such as a Folder or Edition) to narrow the results.
  4. Open an individual entry to see its details — typically who performed the action, what changed, and the timestamp.
  5. If you need a record for compliance or sharing, export the filtered results.

Result

You can see a chronological list of actions matching your filters, identify the Author responsible for each change, and export the log as evidence for an audit or investigation.
