Create and manage Workspaces
Workspaces let you carve a single account into separate areas for different teams, departments, or newsletters. Each Workspace keeps its own Folders, Editions, subscribers, and reports, so Authors only see the content that belongs to them while your billing and administration stay unified.
Before you begin
- You need an administrator role. Only admins can create Workspaces and assign members.
- Decide how you want to divide the account — for example, by department (HR, IT, Comms) or by newsletter program.
- Know which Authors, admins, and analysts should belong to each Workspace, and the role each should hold.
- Workspace controls live in your account or admin settings area (confirm the exact steps in your account).
Steps
- Open the administration or account settings area and find the Workspaces section.
- Choose the option to create a new Workspace and give it a clear, recognizable name (for example, "Internal Comms" or "Customer Newsletter").
- Add members and set each person's role — for example, Author for people who build and send Editions, and analyst for people who only view reports.
- Set any Workspace-level defaults available to you, such as the default sender identity, reply-to address, or branding.
- Save the Workspace. Repeat for each team, department, or newsletter you want to keep separate.
- To manage an existing Workspace later, reopen the same section to rename it, add or remove members, adjust roles, or archive a Workspace you no longer use.
Result
The new Workspace appears in your list, and its members can switch into it to see only its Folders, Editions, and subscribers. Broadcasts sent from a Workspace are scoped to that Workspace's audience and reporting, keeping each team's work isolated.
