Proofread and Polish Copy with AI
AI Assist reviews the text in your Edition for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tone, then proposes fixes you can accept one at a time or all at once. You stay in control: nothing changes until you apply a suggestion.
Before you begin
- Open the Edition you want to review and make sure it has draft copy in it.
- Save your latest changes first, so the review runs against current text.
- Decide the tone you want (for example, formal, friendly, concise) if you plan to adjust it.
- AI Assist reviews the text you point it at — a selected block or the whole Edition. (Confirm the exact scope and controls in your account.)
Steps
- Open your Edition in the editor and select the text block you want to check, or leave nothing selected to review the whole Edition.
- Open the AI Assist panel and choose the proofread or polish option. (Confirm the exact menu label in your account.)
- Wait for the review to return suggestions grouped by type — spelling, grammar, and tone.
- Review each suggestion in place. Accept the ones you want, or reject the ones that change your intended meaning.
- If a suggestion rewrites for tone, compare it against your brand voice before accepting.
- Apply the remaining suggestions, then save the Edition.
Result
Your Edition copy reflects the fixes you accepted, and rejected suggestions leave the original text untouched. Re-run the review any time you edit — a clean pass returns no outstanding suggestions. Send yourself a test Broadcast to confirm the polished copy reads as intended.
