Add Links, Buttons, and Calls to Action
Insert clickable links and buttons that drive subscribers to your content. A clear call to action (CTA) — a single, prominent link or button — is often the difference between a Broadcast that gets opened and one that gets results.
Before you begin
- An Edition open in the editor, with the text or image block where the link belongs.
- The destination URL, ready to paste. Test it in a browser first so you know it loads.
- Optional: any personalization tokens or tracking parameters you want appended to the URL.
Steps
- In your Edition, select the text you want to turn into a link, then choose the link option from the editor toolbar. (Confirm the exact toolbar icon in your account.)
- Paste the destination URL. Use a full address that includes
https://, not a bare domain. - To create a button instead of an inline link, insert a button block and set its label and destination URL. Keep the label short and action-oriented ("Register now", "Read the report").
- To personalize the destination, add a personalization token to the URL so each subscriber lands on the right page.
- Confirm link tracking is enabled so clicks appear in your reports. (This is usually on by default — confirm the exact setting in your account.)
- Preview the Edition and click each link to verify it opens the correct page.
Result
Your Edition now has working, trackable links and buttons. After the Broadcast sends, click activity appears in your report metrics, letting you see which CTAs drove the most engagement.
