In-Email Video Overview

In-email video lets you place a video that plays directly inside an Edition, with an automatic thumbnail fallback shown in inboxes where inline playback isn't supported. Reach for this area when you want a subscriber to watch or preview a clip without leaving the message.

What you can do here​

  • Add a video that plays inline within an Edition where the subscriber's mail client supports it.
  • Set the thumbnail image and play-button overlay shown as the fallback when inline playback isn't available.
  • Point the fallback thumbnail to a landing page or microsite so every subscriber can still reach the video.
  • Understand which mail clients play video inline versus showing the static fallback.
  • Preview and test how the video and its fallback appear before you send the Broadcast.
