Add an Image Carousel to an Edition

An image carousel lets subscribers swipe or tap through several images inside a single block of your Edition — ideal for showcasing multiple products, event highlights, or a step-by-step story without lengthening the email. This page walks you through adding slides, ordering them, and linking each image.

Before you begin

  • An Edition open in the editor, saved in the Folder where you want it.
  • Your slide images prepared and hosted (or ready to upload). Use consistent dimensions so slides don't shift as subscribers move between them.
  • A destination URL for each image you want to make clickable.
  • A short fallback image or caption, since some email clients show only the first slide. (Confirm the exact fallback behavior in your account.)

Steps

  1. In the Edition editor, drag the image carousel (interactive content) block to where you want it to appear.
  2. Add your first slide by uploading or selecting an image, then repeat to add each additional slide. (Confirm the exact upload steps in your account.)
  3. Reorder the slides by dragging them into the sequence subscribers should see.
  4. Select a slide and set its link (destination URL); add alt text so the image stays accessible and descriptive if it doesn't load.
  5. Set any display options the block offers, such as first-slide fallback for clients that don't support the carousel.
  6. Save the Edition, then send yourself a test to preview across a few email clients.

Result

The carousel appears in your Edition. Where interactive content is supported, subscribers can move between slides and click through to each linked URL; elsewhere, the fallback image or first slide displays. Clicks are tracked like other links in your reports.
